Steps to Cook Cottage Cheese Avocado Egg Toast:
Step no.1
Toast the bread:
Using a frying pan or toaster, heat the bread slices until they crisp and turn golden brown. You may wish to use olive oil or butter to enhance the flavor by brushing the bread slices before toasting.
Step no. 2
Prepare the avocado:
In a small bowl, mash the ripe avocado with a fork. Season it with salt, pepper, and lemon (lemon is optional) for better taste.
Step no.3
Cook the eggs:
Cook the eggs in whatever way is suitable for the eater. They can be poached, fried or boiled. For poached eggs, crack them and gently slip them into simmering water for about 3-4 minutes or until the white is set but the yolk is soft. There is nothing wrong in using fried or boiled eggs depending on the preference of the person.
Step no.4
Assemble the toast:
Spread the avocado, Mash the avocado and apply on the toasted bread slices all the way to the edges.
Step no. 5
Top with cottage cheese:
Spoon a bit of cottage cheese on top of the avocado layer. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes or paprika if you want to add some spice.
Step no. 6
Place the eggs:
Using the tongs, carefully pick the cooked eggs and place them over the cottage cheese. In case of poached or fried eggs there is no need to cook the yolk as it is an extra creamy ingredient.
Step no. 7
Garnish and serve:
Add fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro or chives) to improve the overall look and make it flavorful. For those that would want to add more flavor, a little olive oil or lemon juice should be added.
Tips for Cook Cottage Cheese Avocado Egg Toast

Add toppings:
Remember that you can garnish this meal and add bran flakes, thin slices of tomatoes, sliced radishes, or even sesame or chia seeds to it.
