Chinese Red Cabbage

Chinese Red Cabbage

Ingredients:

  • 1 small red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 1 red chili, chopped (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Time:

20 minutes

Steps:

  1. Heat sesame oil in a pan, then sauté garlic and ginger for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  4. Optionally add chopped red chili for heat.
  5. Serve and garnish with sesame seeds.

Tips:

  • Stir-fry at high heat for best flavor and texture.
