Loaded Cabbage Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper

Time:

1 hour.

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook ground meat until browned, then add onion and garlic.
  2. Stir in tomatoes, rice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a greased casserole dish, layer cabbage and meat mixture. Top with cheese.
  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes until cabbage is tender.

Tips:

  • Use brown rice for added fiber.
  • Top with fresh parsley for color and freshness.
